Potency of the Word

The primary demand or derive for every Nation, tribe, community, village or person on earth today is the quest for power be it spiritual, military, academic, financial, numerical or otherwise. Many have been indulged into diverse mechanisms in search of that power, sometimes with an outcome of ritual spiritism just to attain power but have not. We have heard of pastors killing fellow pastors for power only to end up being exposed; without attaining their objectives.

“But as many as receive Him to them He gave power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12).

The literal interpretation induces us into an addiction to religion that the name of Jesus is the source of power with no controversy to such school of thought. I believe that power is actually eneajosulated in the word of God besides the name.

“In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God, the same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made”.

Though “the name of the Lord is a strong tower into which the righteous run and they are saved; my Bible tells me in Him (the word) is life and the life is the light of all men; By it all things were created that exist.

That is to say the word of God which is all inspired has to potency not only to create but also to reproduce. Luke 8:11; to reveal, Gen 1:2; to revive, Psalm 138:7; go for the word.
